If you want the gentlest possible start
Light, non-invasive touch, fully clothed, with nothing asked of you but to lie still. Jin Shin Jyutsu® is where most people who are nervous begin.
Everything below is a different route to the same thing: feeling more like yourself. You do not need to know which one you want before you get in touch.

With EFT you do the tapping yourself, with your own fingertips, on points on your face and upper body. There is no touch from me at all.
LiberatingTouch® works with the beliefs and patterns that keep re-arranging themselves into the same difficulty.
Sessions for children and families navigating autism, ADHD and additional needs, and for the parents, who are usually running on empty.
A gentle, heart-centred way back to yourself.
Light touch, deep stillness.
A simple, hands-on way to calm a busy nervous system.
Anita draws on her full training to meet whatever you bring.
Extra support for children with autism, ADHD or other additional needs, and the families around them.
If you have never been to a session like this, the not-knowing is usually worse than any of it. So here is the whole thing, with nothing left vague.
Nothing to prepare and nothing to write down. Come as you are, and eat normally.
We sit and talk. You say as much or as little as you want. Nothing has to come out in order.
Tapping, light holds, breath, stillness, whichever suits the day. You stay fully clothed throughout.
A few quiet minutes, a glass of water, and usually something simple to try at home.
Do I have to undress? No. EFT is done seated and fully clothed, and Jin Shin Jyutsu® touch is applied through clothing. Wear whatever you are comfortable sitting and lying down in.
Will you touch me? It depends on the session, and you decide. Jin Shin Jyutsu uses gentle, sustained touch, held still and unhurried: there is no massage, no manipulation and no pressure required. EFT involves no touch from me at all, you tap with your own fingertips. You can ask for no touch at any point without explaining why.
Do I have to tell you everything? No. There is no requirement to tell every detail of your story, and no need to push yourself into an experience before you feel ready.
What if I cry? Then you cry, and we carry on when you are ready. It is common, it is not a problem, and there is no version of it that is embarrassing here.
Can I stop? At any moment, for any reason, without justifying it.
This is complementary therapy. It works alongside whatever medical care you are already having, whether that is medication, therapy or treatment, and is never a reason to change or stop any of it. If you are under a doctor or a specialist, keep them.
A parent or carer stays present throughout. Sessions with children are shorter, quieter and led by the child. If they would rather not be touched, or would rather move about the room, that is how the session goes.
We talk first, and you say as much or as little as you want to. Nothing has to be explained well, or in order.
It is a collaborative process in which your experience, your boundaries and your pace are honoured.

No. This is a complementary approach to wellbeing. It is not a replacement for appropriate medical or psychological assessment, diagnosis or treatment, particularly where significant physical or mental health concerns are present.
Never stop or change prescribed medication because of a session. If your doctor has advised something that conflicts with anything said here, follow your doctor.
No outcome is promised. These sessions support wellbeing alongside the medical care you already receive. Where this site describes what people notice after a session, it is describing what people have reported, not a result you are being promised.

Yes. Anita has a special interest in supporting children and families, particularly those navigating autism, ADHD, and other additional educational needs. A parent or carer books and consents to any session with a child.
There is no set number, and you are never asked to commit to a course of anything. Some people come once. Others come for a while. We talk about it honestly at the end of each session.
Yes. What you say stays between us. Your details are stored securely, encrypted, and never sold or shared. The only exception is a serious concern about someone's safety, which any practitioner is obliged to act on.
Anita is an EFT International accredited Master Trainer and mentor, and teaches the whole pathway: workshops for anyone curious, the Level 1 to 3 practitioner training, and mentoring towards accreditation afterwards.
Training and mentoringThere is no rush, and no obligation. If you would rather ask something first, that is a perfectly good place to start.
